Admission Requirements

  1. Completion of the online Graduate Certificate Application along with the non-refundable application fee, To the John Leland Center
  2. Submission of official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities. Students must be able to demonstrate an earned undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a competitive grade point average.
  3. Submission of a letter of recommendation from your pastor, church official, supervisor, or governing body.
  4. Submission of a resume/vita documenting professional and educational accomplishments.
  5. Submission of a writing sample that demonstrates strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  6. Schedule an interview with the Institute for Justice Formation Director

Follow these simple steps to submit your application:

  1. Fill out this application below. These pages ask for basic contact information and information about your educational experience. Please make sure that you sign mark YES to sign and date the application on the bottom of that first section. The final portion asks for a short essay that will help us in advising you concerning our academic programs. If you need more than one page to write the essay, please feel free to add an extra page.

 

  1. SEND payment for the application fee. You may pay in one of the following ways:

Ÿ Check – Please submit a check The John Leland Center for $25.00.

Ÿ Money Order – Please submit a money order made out to The John Leland Center for $25.00.

Ÿ Credit Card – Go to the payment page on the Leland Website and follow the instructions.

Ÿ Debit Card – Go to the payment page on the Leland Website and follow the instructions.

Ÿ Draft on a Checking Account – Go to the payment page on the Leland Website and follow the instructions.

If you pay online, the system generates a receipt for you. Make two copies of this receipt. Keep one for your records and attach the other receipt to your application.

Do not send cash! Applications not accompanied by the admissions fee will not be processed.
